Here is a video of the Intel Compute Stick streaming 1440p content. As you can see in the video above, the Intel Compute Stick struggles to stream 1440p content from YouTube. Now this is a pre-production engineering sample, but my guess is that the specs will be the exact same. It may also have struggled do to a poor Wi-Fi connection. I will have to test again some other time to verify this.
Good news, the Intel Compute Stick can stream 1080p just fine, so if you are looking to use this device as a media center type device running Kodi you should have no problem watching movies and TV shows in 1080p.
