The AFUNTA J22 Mini PC is an Android 4.2 compute stick. This mini PC is very low priced yet still offers some very enticing features. For this review I will go over the specs and features of this TV Cloud Compute Stick and share my findings on the advantages and disadvantages of this small Google based computer.

Advantages:
Cost – This is a very afforadable mini pc that wont break the bank. Click here to check Amazon’s low price.
Dual WI-FI antennas – The Intel compute stick suffers from poor wireless performance mainly because it has a built in Wi-Fi chip. The AFUNTA J22 has 2 external antennas so that you get the most out of the wireless chip. With 2 antenna you will get faster speeds from further away and get a more consistant connection with a stronger wireless signal.
Quad Core Processor – This Mini PC features a RK3188 ARM Cortex A9 processor. This is a very fast processor and will most likely be featured in the Apple iPhone 6S.
Disadvantages:
Android 4.2 – This device only runs Android 4.2. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but I would of liked to have a more current version of the Android operating system installed.
Only 8GB of Nand Flash – 8GB of built in internal storage really is not a lot these days. Lots of Android and iOS based games are 500mb and larger so with only 8GB of built in flash memory, you may find your self needing to add more storage sooner.
No 4K support – With all of the new cheap 4K TVs coming out it would be nice to have a compute stick that supports 4K resolution. This device can only support 1080p.
Conclusion:
If you are looking for a cheap HDMI Mini PC or Compute Stick that is running Android this is a good choice for the fact that it has dual Wi-Fi antennas alone. For some having a strong wireless connection is very important, especially if you are streaming content over the internt. I give this device 4 out of 5 stars mainly because of the low specs. I really wish it had more internal storage and more ram. It works exactly as described and is so small you can just put it in your pocket and bring it anywhere.
