Asus just announced that they are launching the Asus VivoStick. It is an Intel compute stick alternative that runs Windows 10 and only costs $129. The specs are listed below:
- 14nm Cherry Trail Processor (Intel Compute Stick uses the Bay Trail Atom Processor)
- 2GB of RAM
- 32GB of onboard Storage
- 2 USB Ports (1 might be USB 3.0, we are still unsure and the final specs may change before release)
- headphone jack
- Bluetooth 4.0
- Wireless N built in
- Will come in multiple colors
Currently we have no ETA, but my guess is that it should launch very soon. Intel will also be updating their compute stick line to the Skylark Core M processors. Stay tuned for that as well.
